Touchstone 6 Creates a Year of Leadership

The youth and mentors of Touchstone 6 have gotten the year off to a great start by working together with program staff and facilitators to plan their year. Youth and mentors will be taking on leadership roles by planning events such as service learning projects and social activities, as well as helping to lead conversations and activities at monthly meetings. All year we will be exploring leadership and where that will take youth and mentors in their lives in the future.

One other exciting upcoming event that we are planning for Touchstone 6 is a social event where all past and present community members, graduates, youth and mentors, are invited. Look for more details coming soon for this event in November!

Manual 3 Touchstone

The Manual 3 Program began it's Junior year in High School a few weeks ago.  This program started off the school year by working together as a community to establish what this year will look like for them.  Youth and mentors in this program are taking on leadership roles at the upcoming Manual 5 Launch Course.  Youth and mentors have also been creating ways for their community to thrive and work together to be successful this school year.

George Washington 5 Touchstone

As this group begins it's senior year, everyone is focused on what's next after high school.  We spent our last workshop collaging our visions for the future, sharing about what we dream about and beginning to create out post secondary plan.  The youth in this program are busy working and playing sports for their school, but all continue to maintain high grades and attendance at Touchstone events and spend time with their mentors.
